Busy Busy

I've been swamped with editing photos from my last two shoots. I was commissioned for some portfolio work which took up all of last week so I didn't get much time to edit the wedding shots from the week prior. Needless to say, the wedding shots will be my main focus this week.

I won't leave you without a small preview from my shoot with Hazle.

Big shot out to Casey Withers @ C.Withers Media

2nd shot for Casey at a wedding is Stevens Point, Wisconsin this past weekend. Stepping into this small town we were made to feel right at home by our clients, their families, and friends. Spent most of the day on Friday shooting around downtown Point (as the locals call it), and managed to get some photos of the groom and his groomsmen's cars. Be on the look out for those.

The wedding was outstanding other than the 95+ weather. I've never seen such a gorgeous site location for a wedding either. When you see the pictures you will fully understand what I mean!

Minneapolis AutoPlex shoot video

Some of you may remember a shot I did last month at the Minneapolis AutoMotorPlex. We shot video of that shoot and I am currently working on editing the video to post my first shoot video on youtube. This is going to be pretty time consuming, but should allow me to give everyone a greater insight into what goes into one of my shoots. Keep an eye out for the video

Anica

Here are a few of my favorites from my shoot with the wonderful Anica! I met Anica thru a few of the other ladies on the T-Wolves Dance Team. We had an excellent shoot at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. Although lighting was an issue due to the overcast clouds and me not planning ahead and bringing my larger lights we still managed to get some winners out of the batch. Anica was a breeze to work with! Its amazing how a great personality can show through in pictures. I'll certainly be working with her again this year. Ok, enough talk...here she is!

Shooting Anica tomorrow

I have the privilege of shooting Anica from the T-Wolves Dance team tomorrow at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. Just a little portfolio work for the both of us. This will be my first opportunity to work with Anica as she is planning on working with me in an upcoming group shoot with a few of models I have worked with in the past. Looking forward to both shoots!

It was a Happy 33rd Birthday! Big news coming

Had a relaxing evening with my family and a dinner out with my parents. They hooked me up with a Rocketfish 70" CF Monopod for a B-Day gift! (Way to go Mom and Dad)

Also, be on the lookout for a collaboration shoot with one of San Diego's most highly respected glamour photographers, a mentor to me in the photography industry, and good friend Casey Withers @ C.Withers Media. I have the privilege to work with him towards the end of this month. Shhhh, we have to keep this on the DL till after the actual shoot(s).

What a long weekend with family from out of town. Now planning a short week and then off to South Dakota for my Aunt and Uncles 40th Anniversary. Then, its time to lock in models and get this next fashion shoot on the calendar for August!

Next on the agenda...

After my shoot tomorrow with Envy Skin Care I am working with some of my favorite Timberwolves dancers on a High-Fashion shoot using multiple models in each frame. Time to start planning since I want to aim for the end of July/August for this shoot.

AutoMotorPlex Minneapolis shoot

A seriously long day of model and car prep certainly paid off for all those involved. Working with my favorite hairstylist (Heather Grack) and make-up artist/model (Ashley Seykora), we were able to get some outstanding shots of the models.

HerLife Magazine update

After a successful shoot at Forepaughs in St. Paul MN, I am proud to shoot another client feature for HerLife at Envy Skin Clinic this upcoming Wednesday. I'll post shots once the magazine is out.
